- Brian joined the YDAE
Department in the fall of 2004 after graduating from Paoli
High School in Paoli, Indiana.
|
- Brian wanted to be an officer because he felt that he
could make a difference in IAAE Purdue. Brian has been on an
officer team his entire life, so he wanted to get back in
the flow of things and see if he could help the club become
better.
|
- Brian thinks that IAAE Purdue is a wonderful
organization because of the opportunities that the club
presents to the members. If the members take advantage of
the things that are in front of them, it can really make
them a better person in a number of different areas. Another
reason why he thinks it is so great is because of the
interaction that you get from everybody in the club. "The
organization has some great people in it and if you get to
know those people they can help you out on down the road."
|
- Brian on which IAAE Purdue event is the best: "I
would have to say that my favorite IAAE Purdue activity is
the Fall Frolic and Spring Fling. The reason for this is
because it is one of few times that everybody has the chance
to get together as a organization and have fun. Everybody
that is in IAAE is invited and most of the time everybody
comes and has a wonderful time. There is food and
recreational activities that people can do. It is just a
great time to socialize and meet new people. Both of these
events are just great."
|
- Other activities that Brian enjoys: Purdue
Agricultural Council, Purdue Young Farmers, and he works at
food services on campus
|
- One of Brian's major goals as an officer is to keep
our Top Option Club standing. "We have been the Top Option
Club in the School of Ag for the past two years and I really
want to maintain that status. Another, goal of mine is to
get more people involved in the activities that are offered
through out the year. I think our members really need to
get involved in club more. Once again take advantage of the
opportunities that are placed in front of them."
