Alicia Batta

  • Alicia is a Sophomore from Sunman, Indiana.

  • She has 3 dogs, 4 horses, and lots and lots of Holstein cows at home.  She also enjoys horseback riding and working on the farm.  Alicia's favorite activities also involve work.  "My favorite thing to do with the club would definitely have to be any of the work activities, such as working at the FFA center for the day or helping with different CDE’s."

  • Purdue Rodeo Club, Purdue Farm Management Club, Purdue Block and Bridle and Purdue Young Farmers are other activities Alicia enjoys.

  • Alicia said, "I wanted to become an officer because I want to be able to help make a difference in this organization as well as utilize my leadership skills."

  • Like the officer team Alicia set goals for herself, "I would really like to get the members more excited about IAAE – Purdue as well as do more work with high school students throughout the state."

  • When asked why Alicia likes IAAE-Purdue she responded, "I love the camaraderie in this organization, even though I didn’t start in Ag Education as a freshman, as soon as I entered IAAE, I felt right at home. I love that about this organization!"
