Agricultural Communication

Tom Budd Indiana Prairie Farmer Agricultural Communication Freshman
The Farm Progress Companies, Inc., Carol Stream, Illinois, publishers of several magazines that circulate nationwide, has established the Tom Budd Indiana Prairie Farmer Outstanding Freshman in Agricultural Communication Scholarship at Purdue University.

Indiana Farm Bureau Inc. Outstanding Senior in Agricultural Communication
Indiana Farm Bureau Inc. sponsors the Outstanding Senior in Agricultural Communication Award to recognize and reward contributions to the public understanding of agriculture, outstanding academic performance, and involvement in professional and community activities. The winner receives a plaque and a $500 cash award.

Farmer's ExchangeOutstanding Junior in Agricultural Communication Award
The Farmer’s Exchange, a weekly farm newspaper serving northern Indiana and southern Michigan, sponsors a scholarship award for an outstanding junior studying agricultural communication at Purdue University. Established in 1983 by publisher Stephen Yeater, the $500 award recognizes scholarship and involvement, as well as outstanding journalistic performance and potential.

Farm World: Sophomore Journalism
Farm World recognizes a sophomore in the agricultural communication program interested in the agricultural-related journalism profession.

Agricultural Education

Agricultural Education Scholarship and IAAE Purdue Distinguished Service Award Application
Use this award application to apply for ALL Agricultural Education Program Scholarships AND the IAAE Purdue Distinguished Service Award. All current Agricultural Education students Freshmen-Seniors who will be attending Purdue through May 2009 are encouraged to apply. The number of scholarships varies each year. Up to 25 percent of IAAE Purdue membership may receive the Distinguished Service Award each year.

Agricultural Education Entering Freshman Scholarships Application
Use this award application to apply for Agricultural Education Freshman Scholarships. High school seniors accepted for enrollment in Agricultural Education for the Fall of 2009 are encouraged to apply.
