MESA Events


MESA is now accepting donations for outreach to migrant farm workers. MESA has been providing sexual violence prevention education to Migrant farm workers in Indiana since 2003. Because the great need experienced by these families, MESA began collecting and distributing food, clothes, household and school supplies to provide some relief. MESA would like to thank you for your donations and for your support in our efforts to prevent sexual violence in the farm worker community. Please donate items that are new or clean/working condition. Your donations will be distributed to Migrant farm workers in Indiana.

  • Clothing (all sizes adult/children) New/Gently used
  • Household items: clean/working condition
  • Hygiene products: laundry detergent, shampoo, soap,
  • lotion, deodorant, toothpaste
  • Baby-clothes, diapers, products
  • School Supplies
  • Conference Bags
  • Books
  • Toys and Stuffed Animals
  • Canned food items
  • Electric fans

Donations may be dropped off at the MESA office if you are on campus. If you are off campus, please contact us at mesa@ydae.purdue.edu to make arrangements for pick up or drop off. We will be accepting donations through the end of September. Your donations are tax deductible.

After donations are sorted, MESA staff travel around to various farm worker camps to distribute goods to farm workers and their families.
