Undergraduate Research

Undergraduate students have several opportunities to work closely with faculty on research projects in YDAE. Students may be interested in developing a relationship and be mentored by a faculty scholar, conducting an Honor’s Project, learning more about how to conduct social science research in communities and educational settings, or exploring their interests in graduate school. Undergraduate research projects are an excellent way for undergraduate students to demonstrate their potential research capacity to apply for graduate school. There is funding available to support undergraduate research projects.
